Can anyone tell me what the Latest is on Sam?   I know he was facing arraignment today but can't seem to find anything, anywhere on the latest.  Thanks!

(are we going to need to start the "days in jail" meter at the top of this website again?  hope not.)

Got it.

Sam is refusing to cooperate and thus he'll remain where he is, until he asks for an arraignment (or?)

Can any legal eagles tell us about the "or"? I would have thought they would put him in a wheel chair and bring him to the arraignment. There must be precedent on this. What is the longest someone has been held without an arraignment?

Lauren Canario was held for 34 days without coöperating, then released.

its probably when they feel as though they have toyed with someone enough or gotten their "lesson" taught to the person they have kidnapped ...

The time Lauren was being tried by Judge Crocker, her lawyer eventually talked her into cooperating a little bit. That's how she finally got a trial and got out. Who knows how long it might've been?

This entire thing was about "Do as we say!". I don't think they'll simply stop until he does what they say.

There is only one thing 'the state demands' of all it's slaves. Obedience.

So long as Sam isn't obedient, they'll keep him locked in a cage.

I believe Edward James Loh was held for 109 days in Merrimack County lockup when he would not ID. When the person can't be ID'd, they won't mix them in with the population either. Loh explained that to a group, but I don't recall it exactly. So, Sam is probably kept in a holding cell or solitary (my guess) and not "processed in to the population."

I'll look for articles on Loh, but it may have been before papers put articles up on the net. BTW, I think Loh eventually caved because he was bored of it all.

The first article that comes up on Loh is on the ADL's Militia Watchdog page at January 15, 1998.

Another article on Loh's case:

More information could probably be obtained from Pastor Norwalt, who was in Merrimack. I haven't heard of him in the news lately.

I think that's a great strategy in that situation as you are caged alone, with having to worry about dealing with a bunch of new roomies.

I wonder what they would do if they had 100 friends doing it at once?

I think that's a good strategy in the situation as you get a Cage to yourself, versus having to worry about dealing with a bunch of new Roomies.

Ivy calls Porc 411 to report on her meeting with Sam.
Sam is weak, on a hunger strike, and being treated "fairly well".

so she talked with him?
I guess I was underestimating his dislike for the boiled eggs and white bread ;)
Will he really go without food until they give in?

I think that it is very possible the government will give in before our Sam I Am does.
