I'm going to start a newsletter telling people about the pro-liberty activity going on in NH.  You can sign up for it, here:

http://www.soulawakenings.com/underground/tikiwiki/tiki-newsletters.php

I'll also be sending out a paper version of the newsletter for folks who aren't internet savvy.  As long as there's not a million of these, I think I can keep the paper newsletter free, maybe just ask for donations.

If you can try and register for the newsletter, and let me know if you have any problems, that would be real helpful.  Also, if anyone wishes to write articles for it, that would be great!

Kat Kanning

BTW, the impetus for doing this was...I was getting asked a lot by FSP members, perspective members about what's going on in NH.  Also, people in NH have asked for a newsletter several times wanting to know what the freestaters are doing here....people who don't necessarily have net access.

I always forget that not everyone surfs the internet.  :-[
So I don't know what to say when they ask for a newletter.
How should we direct people to this one that don't have net access?

Kat Kanning

We can just take a name/meat space address from them and add them to a list.

Kat Kanning

Oh thank you so much!  You guys are wonderful!

I meant to mention to you...Varrin and I are working on setting up a bulk mail account for FSP and other mailings.  Is there any of this type of mailing that you and Lori would want to do?  Or anybody else...JP for his magazine?

Pat K

I can contribute? a couple of bucks to this if you need help with paper costs and other stuff. Kat let me know were to send a check.
e-mail me at steam970@yahoo.com

Kat Kanning

Thank you, Pat!  I'll let you know wehn I get close to sending one out.

John

The next check I write will be heading in your direction.
Thanks for your leadership Kat!

I was planning on keeping the magazine online for now... but that sounds like a good idea, if we can buy into the bulk rate together... if I had some more information to work with, I could make a better decision.

This could be an unnecessary drain at this stage.  Might be better to focus on mobilizing the mobilizable i.e. folks who can use our forum.   In the time it takes to reach one person with a newsletter you might be able to recruit one participant on these forums, and I'd rather have the latter since it's so hard to keep the former in the loop.

It *could* be.  But if anyone is keyed into what's going on up there, it's Kat.  These forums can be a bit daunting for some people.   Hell, they are already so busy I have a tough time keeping up with it all!  Having someone compile all the crucial info to one periodical I think can only help recruitment for your efforts.  And Kat, if you feel bogged down, don't hesitate to delegate some responsibility to some of these hungry activists!

We have some people ask us about the FSP and our local group specifically that don't use the internet at all. Kat wants to give them a connection to all of our activity. :)
