I'm just thinking that people will start ignoring porc 411 if there's a continual overload on messages.

at least for me its the opposite. when i see 14 new emails i know something exploded with 411 messages, when i see one or two its usually nothing

i don't know who controls the 411, or the service. but if they were to put a link to their site in the email rather than send the actually file to everyone it would save a lot of bandwidth...

On last week's incident, I didn't have time to listen to the (several) long calls, but I listened enough to get the gist and find out what happened.

This week, I could listen to them all.

In both cases, you had two different people calling, which comes in handy since they capture different parts of the conversations. As documentation of what happened, this was a good thing, even if we don't have time to listen to it all.

12 messages (again).  Am I the only one who thinks this is excessive?

I'd say I agree with you but my phone isn't even able to get them.  I just get them on podcast and since iTunes isn't open, I didn't even know about it until my roommates told me.

I think it's a bad idea to keep all the files in one computer.

If that computer gets taken then the evidence is lost.

Emailing them to every keeps the server safe, because everyone has a copy of the files.

I find it excessive... as I find Curt/Lumpy excessive.

His behavior on more than one occasion I found to be unnecessarily confrontational ie. he is the first one to start calling people thugs etc. A bit of a drama queen, grandstanding and looking for the spotlight.

true, but you could have backups and there could be links on the website to download the files, and everyone who downloaded them from the site would have them... people who don't read em and just delete the files won't keep them anyways. the people who actually listen to them will still have downloaded them onto their computer.

Emphasis on the queen part?

I'm waiting on the dog to make the next Porc 411.

The dog can apparently drive a car according to the cop... ;D

I was a victim of hearing his calls on Sunday. He was real winey in the cruiser.  I might have tazed him.

In the Sunday calls, I definitely felt the same way. I didn't say so, just because I didn't want to be accused to taking the cop's side. But even though we know being stopped after harming no one is wrong, I have to say the cop on Sunday did a good job of keeping his cool and being polite when faced with a very hostile Kurt.

Today, while I felt Kurt was again rude and needlessly confrontational, there was no excuse for the cop's behavior. They went immediately into full tactical takedown, "You're going to jail!" mode. And even though there was a passenger who could have taken the car, they seized it for spite, and seized the passenger's belongings as well.

Surely the PIMP session at PF didn't encourage shouting down the cops. When you demand an answer and then cut them off without letting them respond, the "discussion" portion of the encounter is pretty much over.
