After reading Burning Porc was started as a protest to PorcFest moving to Gunstock, (and now that's it's back to Rogers), I hope the gathering still goes on.

I'd like to humbly suggest it be held during the full moon, approximately one month after PorcFest, so people who just went camping can have time to recharge and make it to Grafton's splendid Summer Event.

on the calendar for a while now
I have been involved in the making of Burning Porcupine and having Porcfest choose Gunstock. So that must not be the only reason BP got started. :)
Burning Porcupine mostly happened when the land became available.
