No one on this forum will personally care (except by virtue of being my friend, and happy for me), but I gotta tell the story anyway...

I am one of the webcast announcers for our local independent minor league baseball team. The Saturday double-header against the league's first-place team ended with us sweeping the 4-game series, knocking them from 1st to 3rd, moving our team to 2nd place, and ensuring us of home field for the playoffs.

The only pro baseball game I have seen live was in Cleveland versus the tigers.  This was in the late 90's when the C. Indians had great hitters, and the tigers, well, they were struggling that year.  The score was something like 18-2 with Cleveland on top.
