Sunday night I got arrested for "Public intoxification"

On Sunday night I was walking home from from a bar I go to on a regular basis I had 3 and a half beers on an empty stomach so I was feeling them a bit more than usual I stopped in front of a convince store that I go to that is about 4 or 5 short blocks away from my house to buy a Poweraid  and some thing to eat when all of a sudden a police officer cuffs me and puts me in his car and few minutes later I was put into a Paddy wagon and taken to the Atlanta jail where I spent the next 11 or 12 hours before seeing a judge and being released on my own recognizance I had to call out from work because I had not slept in over 24 hours and I have to miss work tomorrow (I guess today since it is after midnight) to go to court where I face a fine of $132 or $207.60 after penalty's I am so annoyed

That sucks.  I was walking around drunk on Sunday night.  I wasn't arrested, which was nice.

just got back from court where i plead no contest and got time served and even the court bureaucrats were surprised that i was arrested
