Business License?

Upon my arrival in NH, I plan to start a small computer repair operation. How hard is it to get a simple business license and tax ID number?

I'm sure there are others on this forum who have experience starting a company, but, I'm guessing there probably aren't any licence requirements for computer businesses and, of course, no tax ID numbers, other than federal, either.

If you want a tax ID number then you can ask the feds for one. I personally try to avoid that sort of thing if I can.
