My kids came home from Nazi School today with some forms.

This cover letter says if you don't sign the form a nurse from "the district" will come to your home to get a signature. It also says if you don't want your child vaccinated to sign NO under the NO section but if you want your child to be vaccinated to fill out the information (name, address, etc.) and sign. Interesting.....

This is the actual form. some interesting points are the top paragraph where it says "I have read....." and I BELIEVE I UNDERSTAND THE BENEFITS AND RISKS OF H1N1....."

Anyone who has ever made a filing or pleading knows better than to make note of beliefs since they change and have little merit in legal standing.

Also note the placement of the signatures and paragraphs. Those of you with legal minds don't need me to tear this one up. It's obvious.

I'm going to sign under NO and turn it in. No other info on the form filled in. Interested in opinions.

I'd say to not send it in, just to make the government have to work and visit your house, but once you enroll your students in the government schools, the government really has permission to do any damn thing they please. These forms are just an attempt for them to be nice, they're not actually needed. If the government decides its in their best interest to vaccinate every student, they can and will.

I know that my experience-based factual reply will get me flamed by the paranoia crowd, but that statement isn't true.  Enrolling your children in public schools does NOT entail surrendering all of their (or your) civil rights.  Such enrollment does NOT grant the schools or the state carte blanche to vaccinate students at will.  Sure, some schools will ignore this truth at their own peril (as happened in NYC recently).

Quite the opposite, many schools are scared shitless about being sued - they should be.  Smart public schools (an oxymoron, I know) are avoiding this vaccine craze.  Public schools are selfish, they have everything to lose and nothing to gain by participating.

I do agree about the proper course of action - blow it off and make them come to your house.  Why should you have to sign to indicate your refusal?  That is the default position if no signature is provided.  When they show an expedience in providing a genuine education, maybe parents could hurry on the school's behalf.

I am truly glad that you have had experiences to the opposite. However, I have read of and know many judges who take in loco parentis as the final and most supreme word.

Sadly, from my experiences, at least in a few areas I've lived (not NH, again, sadly), schools don't give a damn about getting sued because the people who run the schools don't have to pay the money when they lose!

And the form from the government school is replete with grammatical and spelling errors.  Nice touch!

They have vaccinated some kids, despite the forms.

I don't remember if I posted this before or not but it's funny in light of the serious issues on the swine flu, I think anyway.

Two more stories on vaccinations:

This one is about a girl being denied citizenship if she refuses to have the vaccination for cervical cancer. Because you know, that just spreads like wildfire just from walking around.

And then there's this kid, who had to be held down by four people to get his flu shot. I know that's not quite the same because the parent didn't oppose, but the scariest quote from that article is this one from the County Health Department Administrator:

QuoteFor the most part they go very easy. As far as the shots, every once in awhile you have to hold down one or two.

What a disgusting place this country has become.

I spoke with a school nurse who told me the forms are coming back 50% NO VACCINATION. That's better than I expected.

The only people I know who aren't rejecting the vaccinations, are those who have no choice: those in the military.

I guess it's different now than when I went in in '76. I was able to refuse then and for the next 10 years.

1976 was the year of the last "pandemic" and the government was trying to get everyone to take the vaccine.
