NY: home-schooling parents arrested for not registering

Apparently, the absence of some paperwork endangers the children.

It would seem that if the state can mandate you hang a tag on your dog's collar, they should make children be licensed and tagged.

Just typical total disgustingness. For 7 years, the children were being educated. No one was harmed. If you listen to the reporter, you see that since the arrest, the curriculum being used HAS BEEN APPROVED now. In other words, they've been educating the children for 7 years, bothering no one, harming no one, and were even doing what the state wanted them to do -- but they didn't ask permission of the state first.

And worse, its was one of those "anonymous tips." Those are the most disgusting, in my opinion, because they make me want to use violence against those who are too cowardly to face people and make accusations in public. THOSE people are the ones who should be arrested, because THEY are the ones actually causing harm to others.
