Maybe someone should let them know that a shotgun with a 14" barrel is 'illegal.'  Because they follow the letter of the law, right?

bouncer

everybody knows gun laws only apply to citizens/ subjects the government agents can acquire anything they want. Also you can get a 14" barreled shotgun if you want to pay the tax and be in the governments record book.

It's only illegal if you don't pay the $200 tax. But they don't have to pay the tax, because they're the government.

LMAO.... now that I've read the actual RFQ, I'm reminded of my days in computer sales, when we dealt with all the area schools and local government agencies: the RFQs would ostensibly be for the purpose of open, competitive procurement, but 100% of the time would describe a single model.

That's when I learned that government procurement (which is supposed to prevent using favored sources) actually encourages it: if you want to throw your buddy some business, just write the RFQ narrowly enough that he's the only one who qualifies.

Revenue agents are private sub contractors working for the secretary of the treasury for Puerto Rico.

They have all the government authority of a used condom to request for quotes.

Parties over.  ::)

Thieves have to protect themselves from angry victims somehow.
As well as use the weapons to attack people daring to keep the money they earn!!

The IRS Criminal Investigative Division agents train at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. I saw a t-shirt there that said "IRS CID, your worst nightmare: an accountant with a badge and a gun!"

Those and many of the guns that get turned  in when they offer those deals in the cities end up in cops gun collections, sold by cops or, saved as 'drop pieces' in case they kill an unarmed citizen.

  Voluntary compliance.   Because um we're a free country. Yeah that's it.
