Some of the Free State Party's volunteers met at party headquarters in Grafton, NH today.

Items discused included potential candidates for offices at the state level, and candidates for local offices around the state. Also discussed was a Free State Party convention to be held this summer.

The Free State Party and its candidates may seek endorsements from other groups.

The Free State Party was established in 2009.

Why not just back the liberty candidates that will be fielded by libertarians running in the 3 parties that exist?

Russell Kanning

that is an excellent idea Lloyd .... in fact that is probably how we started the meeting :)
Do you know any we should endorse?

The members of the Free State Party who live in Grafton will be recommending candidates and issues on the Grafton town page in the NH Free Press

We of coarse are looking for candidates that want to run radical campaigns who don't fit into other parties.

We will also at least put one good write-in candidate name for any office. That way you can write in a shrink-the-government candidates name instead of having to choose between 2 evils. :)

Oh! I see. It's a joke!  Got me!

Russell Kanning

so you don't know any candidates that we should be supporting?

Russell Kanning

so when should we have our next meeting?
should we use this space, the fsparty forum, or facebook to communicate?

John

This week.

I think we should meet about every week during "political season." It does not need to be an "official" meeting but rather a get together where our focus is FSParty business.

I like this space for now but think we should probably transition to the FSParty forum as soon as we update the FSParty site.
