For all the mac people here, here is a Porc411 dashboard widget i whipped up yesterday. Hope you enjoy it.

I will probably continue to rely on email for the messages, though. First, I only think to use Dashboard when I need the calculator, or for movie listings. Second, I can tell at a glance which messages I've listened to when using email.

There are so many other wonderful uses for dashboard, like immediate access to metal spot prices. Maybe I overuse my dashboard.
