We explored caves, hit walls with hammers, collected piles of glittery sparkly rocks, and saw a bear.

Looks like a very cool thing to do, if a bit pricey. But you're guaranteed to come back with all the rocks you care to tote, so it's probably a bargain for a rock hound.

A blasting of the rocks was scheduled, according to the website, but they did not blast.

This news gave me a pouty lower lip. :(

I have decided that the $25 dollar entry fee is about $15 to much.
