Jerry moonbeam Brown helps out by=

Unfortunately, the stage is set for California to lose additional companies, capital and jobs in the future. That's because the business environment worsened yesterday when Gov. Jerry Brown signed into law a requirement that utilities obtain one-third of the state's electricity from renewable sources. California companies, which already pay 50% more for electricity than companies in other states, can expect costs to increase by another 19% in some places to a whopping 74% in Los Angeles. Such new burdens along with upcoming regulations stemming from the "California Global Warming Solutions Act" set potentially overwhelming obstacles to companies here as they try to meet competition based in other states and in foreign nations.

In other news today, Greenpeace declared Apple the "dirtiest" tech company.

Ehh? Al Gore is on the BoD, the leadership are known greenies, and Apple has done more than any other tech company to eliminate lead and other pollutants from their products. So, what's the basis for this declaration? Easy: Apple's new server farms in North Carolina (which haven't even been completed yet) will consume electricity generated by coal-fired plants.

Seriously. This is what passes for proof these days.

Jerry Brown is the governator there now .... wow from arnold back to the old regime :(
I was  sad when I found electricity cost the same in NH as CA .... i guess it has only gotten worse there
I guess we can watch california try to match michigans record of socialism

The fact that Al Gore exits and that he is so prominent is more proof that Atlas Shrugged is not just prophetical it is a blueprint.

Lauren reminded me that Ayn Rand might have considered the existence of such a character, as Al Gore, to be absurd.  To have a modern politician say something like 'he created the railroad' and then go on to be a leader in the scientific community would have been literally ridiculous.

exactly
that lt gov gonzalez once said that you had to pay higher taxes because of all the sunshine
Al Gore gets standing ovations from certain "scientists". I guess the ones that live off of taxpayers.
