Today in Walmart, an older man got into the checkout line behind me and asked me if I was staying out of trouble. I said yes, while trying to figure out whether I knew him or not. He then said "Dave Swanson" as way of introduction - he seemed to know who I was and mentioned FreeKeene.com. He brought up pot & how everyone smoked in the '60s, alcohol is much worse, etc. He mentioned Derrick, talked about how he was in the vietnam war & they shouldn't have been over there, and said that he didn't know what solutions there were to resist the insanity (paraphrase) that wouldn't result in good people getting hurt which he said he did not want to see - he sounded sincere. He said he agrees with a lot of what "we" say/do and was friendly. After I finished checking out, I picked up my things and told him to have a nice day. He reminded me to stay out of trouble, and that he agrees with a lot of what "we" are saying - "and this is coming from someone inside" as he pulls out what was shaped like a coin but actually said National Security Agency on it. Does the name sound familiar to anybody?

no idea
I wonder how much they are tracking our Keeniacs.
plus an old guy talking about 'staying out of trouble' seems normal. :)

maybe we didn't get the feds to reveal their identities until the cute redheads started showing up

Something doesn't smell right about the claim...

QuoteThe National Security Agency (NSA) is a cryptologic intelligence agency of the United States Department of Defense responsible for the collection and analysis of foreign communications and foreign signals intelligence, as well as protecting U.S. government communications and information systems,[1] which involves information security and cryptanalysis/cryptography.

I know they are involved in domestic communications grabbing... but nothing about their mission statement would include shadowing junior varsity activists in little ol' Keene NH. They would be the FBI or other DHS agency.

Perhaps it's a local troll stalking people.

That's what I thought.
First the really clumsy attempt to put a wire on Rich Paul and now the intimidation of Kate.  The feds would not do such clumsy things.  It seems like local thuggery to me.

Here's one stanza of a "Pie in the Sky" parody I wrote when it seemed the Occupy movement stood a chance of being prodded into relevancy:

Agents feel sharp and smooth in their heads,
Though they look, talk, and act like, well, Feds.
If he asks, tell him what, where, and who:
"There's a terrorist here—and it's you!"
   Infil-traitors will spy,
Acting like some Ludlum/LeCarre "good guy."
         We don't mind—
         What's to find?
   Occupy!  Surveilled by FBI.

I agree with you guys .... although the FBI sure looked like the keystone cops when they followed us to the airport
