Benedict Cumberbatch!!!!!!!!

Who the heck is Benedict Cumberbatch!  ;D

Although I'm excited the film has been made...  :D  Films have an impact that can far outdistance political efforts.  8)

He's only recently exploded on the scene and quickly become a sort of big celebrity heart-throb. He played Sherlock Holmes in the new BBS series that was a huge hit. He also played Kahn in the latest Star Trek movie.

I haven't seen Star Trek, but he's probably the most perfect Sherlock, ever. Especially since they booted it into present day, which gives Sherlock a whole new set of neuroses, distractions, and obsessions.

Yeah, what he said.

P.S. The BBC is slower than slugs going uphill in getting the new shows on the air.

He's better than Basil Rathbone?

I'd say so. It's partly the production: you can see the mind working.

They're just now filming the third series.
