I see, so you're saying this is some sort of artistic rendering of a reality, not just a photograph, where objects have meaning in an attempt to convey an idea.

I saw an article that talked about how political cartoons were the lowest form of satire. Now I can never look at them the same way.

One of the main issues was this chronic need to label everything as if everyone watching is way too dumb to figure it out. This one, for instance, doesn't need labels at all. One guy is in handcuffs; the other is in police riot gear reading "rights" (perverted obviously, but it's clearly a parody of Miranda Rights). A 12-year-old would get it.

btw I think only one time did a cop read that paragraph to me. I think that was the night they let me go an hour later in Keene even though I said I was not going to show up for court.
