Not a whole lot.  The guy who was acting as a prosecutor talked to us and said he wasn't real interested in seeing us punished.  I guess he tried to get us to plea bargain....said he could make it a violation instead of class A misdemenor.  Then they basically just took down our 'not guilty' plea, kept the bail the same and gave us a trial date.

The prosecutor just wants you guys to quietly go away.

Kat Kanning

When I asked him if he realized that we were on a public street with others standing next to us who were not being asked to leave because they weren't holding signs, he replied, "Sounds like you've got a good case then."

Not everyone in the system is evil to the core.  They just have jobs that require them to (frequently) do evil things.

The snipers have to keep their weapons aimed at the people with sign in the 'secure area'. You were distracting them.

You do realize when the president visits, they put snipers on the roof tops, right?

Dave Ridley

The prosecutor sounds pretty cool; maybe he or she should get a letter of appreciation from one or more of us?  Do you have their name?

Dave Ridley

was there any media there besides "our" media?

Kat Kanning

I don't have his name.  I think he was a Lt. at Manchester Police. He talked to Russell while he was in jail.

No media.
