Pools are fine for summertime. Just don't try to use them in January  :D

I would definitely recommend an attached garage, especially for those not used to winter.

I grew up in Newton.

My wife wants to know how to answer when people ask us 'where are you from?'

I grew up in MA, She grew up in PA.
School in DC for me, UT for her.
We met in Moscow Russia
and lived the past 8 years in CA.

You're darn right - Caren and I were in Russia for our adoption in March, and they've got a hearty spirit of tax avoidance and individual freedom.
