The continued attacks on First Amendment Freedoms hit home the most in the Courtroom, which is why we started KingCast.net, and this is what I noted today on my blawg about the difficult times that dissidents face in America:
Dangerous times call for cameras in the Courtroom, and during times of purported econcomic scarcity and "war" Civil Liberties are the first thing to go. Sad, but truer words never written.]

I note that the Free Speech Defendants keep facing trial continuances, --just as I do, and occasioned by the State -- in an attempt to make them cop a plea and because the State does not want to be perceived as being anti-First Amendment.

Continuances in my case:

And a seminal post on cameras in the courtroom for little people:

In addition to the criminal case I was maintaining a very serious Civil Case for Defamation against Chief Dunn and NAACP for a serious of documented lies to third parties about me. Not anymore:

The $64,000 question any of you lawyers out there have to ask yourselves is this:

Since when does someone taking a deposition have to provide a copy of it to the other side if they have no plans to use it -- regardless of dire financial straights that have crept in since the time the deposition was taken?

That's a Due Process issue folks, constructed solely to beat up a broke Plaintiff.  Watch for it if any of you ever are involved in heated litigation against the government or big business -- which is what the NAACP is, anyway. Did you know that BAE sponsors them?  Yep:
