We have a family of 5 and a dog. We would like to rent a 3 or 4 bedroom house that accepts pets so that our furry family member can maintain her freedom. We would like to live and work in the Keene NH area, but are willing to consider other areas if either the commute is no more than 30 miles or if the price is right. We are used to paying $400 per month here in TN, however we do realize rents are at least double or triple that. So if any of you know of a place coming up for rent at a decent price that will be available in August or Sept. please let me know

Oh, my.  I'm also looking for a rental home that accepts pets (further east - Manchester/Derry) and I've yet to see anything under $1800/month.  Coming from Seattle, that's a bargain and a half, so I'm not complaining, but coming from TN, you might get sticker shock... unless Keene is WAY less expensive than Manchester?

Keene's definately alot less than Manchester, but I don't know if you'll find something that low, even out there.

Believe it or not where I live $400 is the average. I know people whose rents are in the $200 range. However the cost of rent in NH does not deter me from moving there.

Yeah, I have family that rents a house in Jackson, TN for $450 per month.  It is a two bedroom without central air.  I could see a house in a rural part of TN going for $400.  In Memphis, 3 bedroom apartments are as cheap as $400 and 1 bedroom apartments go up to $1,200 or so.  TN is a big and diverse state.

There will be a 3 bedroom town house for rent in Concord available on September 1st.
It has a livingroom, dinning room, kitchen, full basement with washer dryer hook ups, and an attic for extra storage.  Pets are allowed, it is a nice street with children and very close to statehouse and hospital.
I will put you in touch with the landlord if interested.  I also have photos.

It's a cute place, and has a liberty-loving landlord.

I am interested. Please send me information to my email Deanotrek1962@wmconnect.com. I would like to know how much rent is, and what deposits would be necessary. Thanks for the info I appreciate it.
