One complaint I heard frequently when we were in NH (by visitors and natives alike), is that there is a real dearth of Mexican food.

I know about Margaritas, but they won't get my business because of their smoking ban hypocrisy. Are there any others you'd suggest? Anywhere in the state?

Too bad we can't get more illegal Mexicans up here....the food is great.

Armadillo's in Keene has an absolutely ROCKIN' burrito.  I haven't tried any of their other items.  It's not your typical Mexican restaurant, though.

Armadillo's in Keene is a little local hangout with cool music. The food is like baja fresh (on the national scale) and I like their burrito in a bowl (less messy). You can see Margaritas from there and heckle them. :)

There is supposed to be a great place in Newport or Sunapee called 'The Red Baron'.
There is a place in Henniker that is supposed to be good.  I don't know the name of the place.

I lived in LA for 8 years.  I miss great thai food and great hole in the wall mexican places.

Tortilla Flat on Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack, across from Shaw's, is pretty good, though nothing at all like the absolutely scrumptious, unpretentious food you'd get at a little dive taqueria in San Francisco.

The Mexican can ride up on a goat carrying an Onion.  :)

...but he won't need to worry about a ride home.  ;D

We passed through Cincinnati on the way back from Shorty Fest. I actually saw Skyline Chili (and some others).

(This is all a Ron White reference, for those of you who don't know. PatK is a Noo Yawk redneck.)
