She's rescuing him. He fell off a building while reading the first issue, and so she swooped down and caught him.  He was so engrossed that he was oblivious and didn't even hear his Spider sense so he couldn't save himself.

SPider girl's saying. "You here that Dad? I'm AMAZing now" (Because the title was changed from Spider Girl to Amazing Spider Girl (Which also isn't shown in the pic.)

And then he's responding. "Hey, that's my line."

The M2 Universe is the only Marvel I read. They're expanding it again and bringing A-Next back too for a 5 issue mini. (The Avengers 15 years later.) Maybe they'll relaunch the Fantastic 5 series too. (A guy can hope? ? ? The 1st 5 issues sold really well, but some magazine distributing company agreement fell through or something and they cancled it 7 issues before the 12 issue run was up.)
