We finally got power back this afternoon after 9 days out. We did have a generator for basic functions, but no internet. The generator actually failed around 10 am and the repairman arrived just 5 minutes after the main power came on.

The snow is making it hard to remove all the fallen trees and branches from last week.
Yikes!!

Good thing food delivery isn't up to .gov employees, who all get to go home with pay on snow days.

Oh, except for the plow drivers, who make all their money this time of year.

Man... we so need Chinese delivery here! It's either pizza, or go get it yourself.

The interesting thing about snow is no two flakes are exactly alike...sort of like us.  ;D

Kat Kanning

Wow, can I quote you on that?  ;D

Yeah, just 6" or so here - and still coming.

I am happy to report it is 39 deg.
here and raining steadily.

If it gets to bad Lloyd, I could always shovel
out a corner of my apt and inflate the air bed.
