Libertarian Political Report

Wayne Root for President update

Just hours ago, prospective Presidential candidate Wayne Allyn Root released the attached statement, MY LIBERTARIAN AWAKENING.  As promised, you all are the very first individuals anywhere to receive this.  You are now permitted to pass this along to friends and political associates.   Root has confirmed for both the California Libertarian Party Convention in March and the Libertarian State Chairs Conference in Orlando for April.

Eric Dondero at mainstreamlib is extremely pro-war as I've went back and forth with him about it for a couple weeks now. My concern is that Root maybe neo as well. It sure would be nice for the elite to have all major parties in the pro-war camp. If ya take a look at some of the folks that Dondero considers libertarian, you'll get sick. Personally, I think the war on terror/iraq/iran etc is the defining issue differentiating a conservative and a neo. Conservatives could truly link up with libertarians because of the more common bonds. But neos? I think this mainstreamlib group is just trying to hijack the LP and take votes from those who would normally support Ron Paul on the GOP ticket. Consider: all of a sudden some rich guy claims he's a libertarian and has a pre-ordered team to vouch for him accordingly. Seems fishy. I bet Root wouldn't even hit the 70-70 mark on the WSPQ. Talking about watering down the party of principle, or what's left of it. Shoot, they can take the party and we'll take the free state.
