good morning. i have been a titular member of the Free State Project since before New Hampshire was chosen as the place to make a stand. i am more than satisfied with that choice. i am originally from Ohio and altho i have been to the east coast many times, never to NH. i am not prepared financially to make the move as of yet. when i do i would prefer to live and work in a communal setting. simple, earthy, self sustaining. can someone direct me to a site that i may contact for consideration and a possible visit in the future. i would like to make the move before a passport is needed to get out of Oregon, a state i do love, but which doesn't have the particular focus of the Free Staters, which i sense hope in these perilous times. thank you for your consideration and your continued attention to our Constitutional crisis and its solution in the "people"

Sorry I haven't heard of such a place...sounds nice.  Welcome to the forum, though. :)

You may find the New Hampshire Sustainable Energy Association to be of interest http://nhsea.org
While they don't specifically deal with communal living, it may be a good start to develop contacts.

Search for forum for "intentional communties"; there are a few of them in NH.

I know that something is being built in the Peterborough area... individual houses and then lots of shared space.  there was an article in the Concord Monitor about it a few months back.

QuoteNubanusit Neighborhood and Farm will consist of 29 quality built, environmentally designed homes, a Common House, professional office space, a working farm and woodlands with walking trails. We are located on 70 acres on Steele Road along the Nubanusit River, about a one mile walk from downtown Peterborough in the Monadnock Region.
