Keep in mind that laws are just words on goddamned pieces of paper and can be changed at any time.

Man the ND leg. only meets once every 2 years.

Cool we might consider this in NH.

That's a good law, and it's a real relief to see that it concerns microchips.  (I opened the thread because the first thing that comes to mind when I see anything about "chipping" in N.D. is "Fargo," and I just couldn't believe they needed to pass a law about that kind of "chipping.")

I'm just amazed that we've gotten to the point of requiring a LAW which forbids forcing implants on people. Surely there's already some on the books? Not to mention, and dare I ask, why did someone obviously feel the need for this law? O.o

That article found the PERFECT picture. :D

Oh, the law is entirely feel-good bullshit scribblings on paper.

The only real benefit that it MIGHT have is that it might slow down future legislators, who will have to change the scribblings on the paper before they start chipping people.

SpeedPhreak

its good because it shows that some legislators still care about freedoms.

its bad because we shouldn't need a law to protect freedoms that we all already have.

OMG, me too! I'm pretty Libertarian and even I was thinking "Pushing people through a wood chipper SHOULD be illegal, right?"

Well maybe as an adult you can kick and scream and run away but they just made it easier to 'chip' your KID in NH with HB 184
