I've got six gold coins for sale. They are French 20 Franc Gold Roosters in beautiful, uncirculated condition. Dates on them range from 1907-1912.

• French 20 Francs are genuine "Legal Tender" gold coins dating before World War I.

• By law, each of these gold coins contains .1867 troy ounces of pure gold.

• The 2007 "World Book of Coins" lists these at retail prices up to $145 each. That book was published back when gold was $550 an ounce.

I purchased them several years ago from Austin Coins, a popular and reliable coin dealer. Here is their page about the coin http://acoins.com/roosters.html

They're selling the uncirculated coins for $159; circulated ones are going for a little less on eBay.

I'd like to get $140 for my uncirculated coins. They're a great investment! I'll take PayPal, cash or money orders. Also, I've got five 1oz silver coins that I'd like to sell; 1 Liberty Dollar and four other non-numismatic coins.

Insurgent, this is sexy. What are your selling terms? I'm out of state, but I will be at PF next month. Also, can I get some pics of your merch and a full description of everything you'd like to sell? I have some stuff too, which I can assay for you this weekend. Perhaps you'd like to trade for something.

Sexy, huh?  :) I'll get some pictures of the coins up, probably this weekend. My terms are that I would like to sell them as quickly as possible. All to the same person would be great, for many reasons, but not absolute. At this point I'm more interested in trading them for FRN's since I have some bills come due. I'm not anxious to get rid of them and would like to hold on to them, but necessity calls.

I guarantee their authenticity. The coins and I are located in Concord; delivery or pickup can be arranged based upon mutual consent and availability  :)

I would like at least one, if available.

I am a strong maybe for one.
Especially if you just need the cash.

PowerPenguin

Do you have any certs of authenticity from PCGS or NCGS?

May I repeat the fact that I have close to a hundred lbs of silver coins in the fashion of pre-1964 quarters. Any interest? Plus, I have silver half dollars and more. Just trying to see where the market runs at this point. Thanx yall

I am willing to pay spot metal price with some margin (i.e., no nuministic value). You can do better than this on ebay.

It's with bittersweet happiness that I announce that all of the aforementioned coins have been sold  :Dollar_-_Silver:

Aw :'( Oh well. BTW, I ALSO just got $30 face value worth of 1964 90% silver half dollars as well. Great minds think alike, I guess. I'll have them there in order to buy stuff from people and/or to sell for FRNs or whatever if people want  them in that context.

Those monthly porcupine meetings are getting to be busy exchange sites. :)
I saw the pretty coins ... I guess they were being traded for those funny green and peach bills.

Don't forget the funny green and purple bills.
