I think the short title is dishonest.  It should be called the "Restoring Habeas Corpus Act of 2007".  In order for them to honestly call it the "Restoring the Constitution Act of 2007", they would have to repeal most federal "laws".

I generally don't care for Dodd, but I do like the approach. It's the internet version of Ronald Reagan's technique: use the bully pulpit and get the people to pressure Congress.
