A person i know that came from the east coast said that it can get to 20 ft deep. Is this true? because if so how do you get to work? if the snow plows are scraping the roads do they hit burried cars? im kinda curious.

Russell Kanning

not even at ski resorts in NH

3 feet would be a lot for around here

Russell Kanning

if that was true we would have to have second entrances on the second floor .... my house would be an igloo. :)

JonM

Some houses do have second entrances on the second floor.  But I think that's more a multi-family thing than a 12 feet of snow thing.

Russell Kanning

they have pictures of the snow being 8-10 feet here once .... once

gir

ok thanks, i was like what the when i heard that. so i wont have to woory about being burried in my truck. :P

JonM

If your truck is parked on the side of a road and you are in it when a snow plow happens by, then you might get burried.

So whose house was the igloo?

JellyFish

It depends...if you are a socialist, left-winger type then the snow can get more than 30 feet high in some places!!! Blizzards all the time!!! Power goes out all the time!!!! Sub-freezing temperatures most of the year!!!!  :o

But if you are a decent, freedom loving soul then...no, the snow isn't bad at all. Come and join us.  :icon_pirat: ;D

Just don't bring any leftists with you and feed them the line about the weather and all the crazy rednecks with guns everywhere, shooting anything that moves because they think it's a deer.  ;) :)

When does socialist season open this year? >:D

Don't listen to Pat. Snow is GREAT! I was hoping to get more of it this past winter. I wanted to build an igloo :(

I saw an igloo in Keene. I think someone on the forum here built it.

i am comming up all alone :( so you dont have to worry about me bringing crazy people. although if someone builds an igloo better lock it you might find me making it my new home! :D

Russell Kanning

I igloo-ize our house by blowing snow up against it. :)

PatK has met snow ... and he doesn't like it.
