I predict civil disobedience will come on this issue someday...

300 people on the State House lawn smoking up, for instance?

What would it take for you to make a public stand?

Fragilityh14

I'm a current medical marijuana patient and have a condition which qualifies under the laws of many states, so the stakes are a little different. However, I don't really look like a dying person, just a strangely underweight stoner.

i put 25 but I don't really know how many, i would need to learn a lot more about how they generally feel about such things in NH.

Also, I love smoking a joint in the sun, so there's that...

I'm a total non-smoker, but I checked the last one. I'd twist up some pipe tobacco or something.

Shouldn't 0 be an option?  Why do you need more than one person to do it?

I said 50....but it would depend very much on what the civ dis was because, let's be honest, they would laugh and point at us and then they would arrrest us.

50 is a totally arrestable number of people....but I would really really love to be more involved in MJ civ dis.

Ian....are you the guy to talk to about that sort of thing?

Ian, perhaps for CD.   Matt Simon, Rocketman, for political pot stuff.

I'm not interested in organizing, just participating and perhaps speaking to media, if necessary.

I think it would take more people than the available police can arrest during the event. I would look to CU as one of the first recent openly defiant acts of Cannabis CD, organized for that purpose, on  4/20 over the last 2 years. I would think this could be done in Keene with the college students help organized by fliers.

On a related note, the giant Boston MASSCANN rally is Sep 15 this year.
It's super-fun... don't miss it!!!

Sweet!!! I've never been to anything like that, but I bet it would be a blast!!!  Too bad it's in Boston, but it's got me motivated to get up to NH sooner, rather than later.

Wouldn't the only right answer to this question be 420?

Dave Ridley

i think it's just as safe and effective with one as many

they'd just photograph us if there are 500 and make arrests later

peacenic

I would do it with 10 people, and expect to get arrested, but I'm ok with that.  Especially cause so many non violent people are sitting in jail because of it's status.  My personal feeling is that not enough people notice or care about those being locked in a cage for marijuana.  If a demonstration/arrest could bring some attention to the cause I'm all for it.

Dada, do you really think that;s true? Can they arrest us based on a picture??

How could they prove that a photograph is evidence of marijuana smoking?  You could have a hand rolled tobacco cigarette.  This is one reason why it's very important to have tobacco smokers participate, in order to confuse the police and make our numbers look much larger.
