I feel obligated to mention "hemp plywood" now.  It's gonna save the world!  (until the meteor)

I bet that would be awesomely strong.

Supposed to be stronger than wood. 

Much quicker turn around on the growth compared to trees too. 

Plus birds love the hemp seeds.  Pot in every chicken is my apropos political slogan of the day!
