Russel, according to the chart in this Gary North article (note: uses MiniTruth indices), food is extremely cheap in oil-terms right now, and still pretty cheap in terms of commodities in general.

lots of food is going up, but not as fast as oil

when do we start denominating the charts in gold to make them more useful?
