If anyone is interested in reading a condensed version of this thread, Party Dialogue fits the bill.  George H. Smith wrote this piece as a hypothetical conversation between a political libertarian and an anti-political libertarian.  I was amazed at how closely it parallels our discussion here (if you ignore the tangents and the polar fleece ).
