Your opinions needed: Spontaneous combustion
« on: November 19, 2007, 04:57 AM NHFT »

I just finished reading a Telegraph (UK) story about the use of the new ADS system. Basically it burns your skin from a distance. I got to thinking about all of the "spontaneous combustion" cases from back in the 70's and 80's. I have never been able to find any stories to back it up but I wonder if this weapons, or weapons like it being tested by our lovely government are the reason for any of the cases?

Mostly the theories are chemical changes in the body, "fat wicking" or fell over too close to the fire. What does everyone think? Could be or no way?
