If it happens the way I think it might, I'm pretty sure a flood will be involved.

Are there any astro-physicists around here?  I would love to find out if it might be theoretically possible for an asteroid to hit the moon - cause the moon to turn red with clouds of dust - move the moon away from the earth back into a 30 day rotation  - while moving the earth closer to the sun into a 360 day rotation?  This is where I believe the Garden of Eden will be found again.  The two plus hottest days of our year will be gone on either side of the equator along with the two plus corresponding coldest days.    PERFECT SCIENCE!!

I may have lost my mind, but it's the way I saw it.

Are you a troll, or do you really believe this?

This sounds kind of nonsensical to me. I've seen a lot of interpretation of Scripture in my day, but this is certainly new to me.  If I thought that was what Christianity was all about, I do believe I would find Christianity kind of pointless. Why would God be so petty as to try to move the earth a few degrees this way and that in its orbit? Does he have nothing better to do with his time? Why all the flashy theatrics: red moon, etc?  Is that how you experience God in your personal life, as a showman who goes for effect and tries to win people over by violent displays of power? If so, why do you worship him?

I'm not trying to be antagonistic. I'm probably one of the few Christians on this message board. But theories like this paint God as vengeful, petty, and self-absorbed. And that isn't my God.

The flood is for instance, snow, hurricane, fire, ect. my point is that disaster is imminant and we can ...
A-worry
B-hide
C-be prepared and roll with the punches.

Caleb, I don't know if you are reading the same Scripture that I am but our Creator is vengeful, petty, and self-absorbed.  ie: Though shalt have no other Gods before me... unto three generations, and unto four of those who hate me.  What about slaughtering a lamb so that the flesh can be burned causing a pleasing odor to ascend.  Also, what about ignoring all this pain and suffering throughout the whole world but taking the time to perform small miracles which very few people ever get to see and sometimes never even talk about.

We just don't know His reasons.

Part of the images I also saw in the vision were of a Child sitting on a floor playing with toys.  What He was doing while He was manipulating these things with His hands was creating a world in His imagination.  He was playing God.  All children do this instinctively.  In previous posts I referred to all things happen in circles or spirals, not always the same size.  Some are minute and some are enormous.  Could it be that our Creator has had to go through the same circles?  Could it be that our Creator is still only a Child among other Creators?  That would certainly explain the whole dinosaur thingy.

I guess it's time to let you in on the secret:  The Bible isn't God's book to man. It's man's book about God. Hopefully that will help you.

How can you be so sure?  Don't you think that He moves men to do things?  What about the Prophets?  If He doesn't move men then all prophets are false.

Lloyd, that can be taken  many different ways!

Ok, lets all brake out the swords and pikes and kill each other!  Lets fight and yell and be uncivil!  I like confrontation.
My point?  I see some nastiness coming to the surface, lets keep this civil.  If you think Elvis is going to flatuate on the noom, so be it, if you think God is going to do what he says, so be it.  We can't convince each other as to the vengance of a higher order.  Now lets be friends.  Hell, I'd buy ya a beer if we were at the bar.

JohninRI

The point is not to convince.  The point is to get one thinking.  Something that most religions and governments frown upon.

Hey guys I was right up front in my first post on this subject.

QuoteI have been trolling here regularly for quite a while, and I love the enthusiasm and energy that all of you seem to have, but there seems to be a re-occurring theme that troubles me about our future.

I love reading the forum, it gives me great hope.  I don't participate much because I just don't have the extra energy that I used to have.  I want to move to NH, I think it is where I belong, but I am having a great deal of trouble convincing my wife.  I have spent quite a while searching NHBean.com for a house with over 5 acres and a barn which I can make furniture in.  I have found quite a few that I could be very happy in but still haven't been able to sway her.

I may be a troll but all of my posts have been very serious.  I did have the vision and I have spent years putting the vision into my own thoughts.  I can assure you that after I had the experience I had all the same reactions that you are probably having right now.  But I'll tell you, it's one of those things that sneaks up on you, once you hear it you can't un-hear it.  Your sub conscience will think about it - if it's God's will!
