Just out of curiosity, how do you know that Michele's called the cops?

If they actually did that, then a boycott might be appropriate.  But, it would be a shame to boycott them if it's just a false rumor.

As was suggested earlier, all businesses should be given a chance to respond.  There is no boycott yet as the response hasn't been asked for.

Okay.  That makes sense.  BTW, who has the authority to issue the request for a response from Michele's?

The reason I'm asking is just in case someone later claims that Michele's is refusing to respond.  I want to be sure I can tell whether Michele's is actually refusing to respond or whether an official request has not yet been asked for.

Authority?!?

Yeah, like who's in charge of the boycott?  When people said "the" boycott and talked about a blacklist it sounded like an organized boycott that's either "on" or "off" for everyone participating.  Maybe I misunderstood, and it's just up to each person who wants to participate to ask Michele's on their own what their excuse is and to decide for themselves individually whether to boycott or not.

Whoever feels like taking the initiative to get it done is "in charge" of it, but I wouldn't use those words to describe it. Ask them yourself. Post the response here. &c..

Luck

- It seems to be called Michele's Ristorante  - www.micheles-ristorante.com - 64 Main St, Keene - (603) 352-2300.
- I assume that's the correct phone number. So here's everyone's chance to get the scoop from the horse's mouth.
