apparently the house my wife grew up in had forks that would fly across the table and weird stuff like that. weird. im not really a ghost guy myself, more like one of those crazy ufo nuts

Wow, forks flying across the table, that's pretty freaky!  :o   I don't know which would be worse for me that evil voice I heard or flying forks either way it's a good way to get some exercise by running away from both.  :P

Ufos are interesting to me and I keep an open mind to the subject.  My main confusion with ufos is that I don't know if it's the government is making this stuff happen or if it's real.  If they can invent this stuff to someday project ufo holograms, (look into Project Bluebeam), to get people to do whatever they want than that's a possibility.  On the other hand why are they waiting so long, maybe for the microchip to be perfected?  Knowing most people would go for just about anything, even the chip, if we were being attacked by ufos?

I just really don't know because the Phil Shneider, (sp?), story is compelling to the opposite of Project Bluebeam, so I'm really in the middle. :-\

im sure most, if not all ufos are militairy related. i just don't like when people claim that they are things like swamp gas or the planet venus, when video and picture clearly show a flying object that seems to be engineered by some intelligence.

Yeah, I know what you mean.  I think those are people that don't want to believe what they are really seeing, don't you think so?

definitely, although i don't understand why

I think they probably are scared shitless of the "unknown".  :-\

Just a few months ago, on a dark, very cold, and very windy night I awoke to a thump outside my room - but inside the house - and an unexpected cold draft inside the house. I was home alone and so I knew - fully - what conditions to expect at 2:30 in the morning. This was not what one would expect.

I had left my bedroom door wide open to let in the low warmth of the house. All other bedroom doors in the house had been closed (since there was no point in heating the unoccupied rooms).

So anyway, I got up to stoke the fire, and I found that the bedroom door across the hall was ajar. The other door (on the other side of that same room) which had also previously been closed, was now wide open. The hallway was very cold.

There is more to the story of that night (which I'll maybe share later) but anyway, at about 5:15 - just before the sun was about to rise - a bat appeared in the basement, flew three times around me, and then disappeared.

My ex-wife grew up in a house that had forks flying across the table. And knives. Pots and pans and the occasional rolling pin, too.

My ex-wife grew up in a house which was said to be haunted.
I have an intelligent - and quite realistic - theory about who was actually "haunting" that house. I had not figured it out until I got to know "the rest of the story."

I believe that (at least in that case) the man who was promoting the idea of "a ghost" in that house was actually the one who "haunted" the hallways.

That is strange but at least the bat disappeared.  I woke up in an old apartment of mine and a real bat was flying over my face!   I closed my eyes thinking it was an acid flashback but oh no I couldn't get that lucky.  ::)

I've got one in my apartment's basement that likes to bang on the pipes. My kids have always been totally comfortable in the apartment but all of a sudden they didn't want to go to the bathroom alone. I never told them about the ghost. I got half drunk one night and chewed the ghost out in my usual tactful manner and the pipes went FUCKING NUTS after every sentence. I had a calm talk with "it" a couple of days later and apologized and asked it not to come around when my kids are here. I said it would be okay for it to hang out with me in the apartment on the weekends when the kids are at their mom's but the weekdays please go back to the basement. Seems to have worked. The kids don't mind going to the bathroom alone now and whenever I go to pick up the kids I announce that's what I'm going to do. I always say "knock if you can hear me" and damned if it doesn't. Kind of cool / freaky at the same time. BTW here's my horoscope from the latest weekly paper (the one I used to work for)

Capricorn (Dec. 22 to Jan. 19)—Paranormal activity could be obvious in your home or work environment this week. Meditate and see if you can figure out what this spiritual presence needs from you. If you pay close attention to all of the signs, you will be able to put the puzzle pieces together. It appears as though someone from the other side is trying to help you. Thank him or her for his/her support in your prayers.

I think I prefer ghosts to bats, lol!

Strange as it sounds - I seem to be bringing ghosts home with me.   :-\  I go out to one of our local bars...come home alone...sort of.  It seems I brought an invisible guest with bad B.O.

It gets weirder...thought my daughter had been in my house while I was gone yesterday...wasn't her.  "someone" left a nice hand print on my bathroom mirror and it wasn't me...smaller hand and no scarred up thumb.

Heading toward my padded cell now... ;D

Jeesh - I told you to ask it nicely.  Hmmm...maybe I was right?

The ghost's name wouldn't be Jack Daniels, would it?  ;D   Sorry, I couldn't help it!

Creepy, we had little footprints on the floor coming out of the shower, too close together to be a person and there's no one that small here right now.

The bat did freak me out, I still suffer from BIT, (bat induced trauma), I made that one up myself and now I'll look for some medication for it!  ;D

JD would smell better, lol!

Wonder if I should ask him to leave before or after my neighbor watches the house for a few days.   >:D  Only I could bring a dead guy home from a bar.  Maybe Friday night I'll confuse him and drop him off at a different bar.

You know though, bringing a dead guy home might be better than bringing a live one home sometimes!  :D

As long as when I want him to leave I ask nicely?  Hmm...if I bring home more than one will they get along?   :D

Hmmmm, that's unknown territory for me, even when they're living!  ;D
