I managed to compose my post without 5 years of college.

You can still go to college!  In fact, a lot of colleges charge no tuition for people over 65 years of age.

this isn't much to say, that hasn't already been said... in 1800 if the military was performing police duties people would certainly do something about it

Between that and the small number that would be more than willing to stay on duty for free because they love their jobs (lol 3 in 50), should be enough. Its time for the public to know we dont need cops at every corner catching people that sneak through red lights, or just to hassle OC'ers.. we need police officers to answer dispatch and catch criminals... not sit around and set up revenue traps
