Sixty dead, but all (save maybe one case) from bird to human transmission. ?The real worry is that the virus will mutate to become commutable between humans. ?Maybe this is a baseless worry, but lots of people, even libertarian/ anarchocap people, seem to think this is more than the newest bugbear. ?I'm not gonna post a bunch of new links. ?I've already advocated personal preparedness here. You and Kat seem to be more worried about conspiracy theories. ?If this comes down the pike the guvment will 'manage' it with isolation, quarentines, and the likely end of civilian rule. ?I would be happier thinking liberty types were prepared and not dependent on centralized, hierarchical modes of treatment distribution. ?Your naysaying doesn't move us in that direction. 

Kat: "Is there any proof..."  I imagine ther is not enough proof for you, as cynical and conspiracy minded as you are, but check out Tyler Cowen's Blog, and the avian flu blog.  Or google it to see what doctor's are saying.  Don't be so dismissive.
