OK.....Old FSP, New FSP, Anti-FSP, Bus To This, Bus To That..... any of you geniuses got any ideas for getting people to come to NH?

Open up the discussion of what's going on in the FSP so that everyone can take part and help. They'd have so many more volunteers if people only knew what was happening.  But they're afraid of the public scrutiny because what they're doing is stupid.  All their energy is focused on a new website, for crissakes.   Stop stifling the creative individuals like Sandy and Brian Sullivan so they can bring in people without being hassled.  Stop dissing on people who want to make the FSP mean something.  People will be more interested in joining a movement that stands for *something*.   They don't need to be centrally planning activitiy, but they do need to stop stifling it.

Central management structures simply don't work as well. In government OR in the free market. If they'd just stay out of people's way and leave them alone -- we'd have all the members we need right now.

One effective way is to go on ICQ website or some other instant messenger website, find random people, befriend them, start talking about politics, mention the Kelo Case, ask them if they are outraged, explain your political position, then if they are interested tell them about New Hampshire. I've successful got a lot of people interested in freedom using that approach.

Are you for real? Or are you being sarcastic? Perhaps we wouldn't be at 20,000 yet. But we'd be a heck of a lot closer if the FSP didn't piss on many of the activities that their members have been doing for outreach.
