Hey wait a minute my score sheet doesn't have ANY reference to "you are of severely low moral character".   I'm gonna have to speak to the panel of judges on how to score that one.

I do think you lose points for timing though, a proper insult MUST be delivered on a timely basis or it loses effect.  (See the Seinfeld episode where George delivers "the jerk store line" and it bombs due to poor timing)

Yeah, so if someone were to post about how he wants to kill the President, do you think the government would say, "oh, that was just a hypothetical discussion, and he didn't mean it," or do you think he would be getting a visit from the Secret Service?  I think the latter.

1. What exactly do the previous 30-45 comments have to do with the topic matter (i.e. leet's situation)?

2. Has anyone heard from leet? Given his previous posts I wonder if Old Man Bugnuts has offed him.

3. Although I'm new here, one thing that impressed me enough to join this forum is its apparent lack (the thread notwithstanding) of "tennis-match" flame wars. ("No, I didn't..Yes, you did").

4. Perhaps the subject has wet itself and needs a fresh change.

I am Sympathetic to Leet's plight.  I am  thinking that a few wise guy comments aren't what made him decide to leave.

There IS alot of back and forth here and sometimes people will disagree with the solutions.  For the most part I think the problems are easily identified, ie : people shouldn't  be prohibited from being free and not be prevented from consenting behaviors.  Where we seem to get the lively debate is the "how to"on implementing solutions.

In my opinion.... It's always good to hear people's successes that result in a change and an awakening rather than transferring the gun from one party to another.  I wonder what would happen if Leet approached this bad person and simply asked for a truce?  I recognize in some cases that might be fool hardy but maintaining the moral high ground can be very powerful if used in the right situation. 

It would be good to get an update from Leet on his situation.  I share your concern that bad things could be happening to him.
