I think the Pelletier family needs to invest in a dog sled.  :)

Good looking dogs, those.

Heidi's too lazy to pull a sled, but seeing Nadia's overjoyed reaction to the accumulation of snow last week, I felt really bad that I didn't have something to harness her to, so she could pull me around the neighborhood yelling "Mush!"  That would have made her month, I'm sure.  I'll probably pick up a toboggan at the hardware store next time I'm there, been meaning to get one anyway.

Otis really loves his WalkyDog. It'll be good when the weather allows its use again.

A dog sled would be a good investment for him.

I tried attaching my dog to my bike before...all he did was pull me over.

I don't know if Nadia can pull a toboggan, but she can sure do a bike. I used to hook her up and she would pull me close to a mile before I had to pedal at all...

Here's a couple of photos from on the way home from Brad & Margot's party, of two very tired dogs:

And Nadia misses her daddy:

Kevin sold his house in Canada, and as you may have noticed in another thread, is dealing with a builder and short allowances for furnishing of his new home, so Nadia may be leaving us in the next few weeks.  We'll miss her terribly.   :'(

I see that Kevin is returning the dog-sitting favor. I got to meet Heidi and Nadia yesterday, and they're great dogs. Mary was amazed at Nadia; she's never seen a Siberian that was so relaxed and people-friendly. She let our three year old son climb all over her, hugging and petting.

Heidi is great, too. That's not all hair, though; she's a little thick around the middle!  ;D

Heidi barked a lot.  I think she was trying to send a message to Russia, "Come home soon and bring the kid, too!"

The latest news from the Pelletiers is that they expect to be home July 4 or 5.
