The best thing you could both do is to start creating a new paradigm of existence completely apart from the present one.

Anarcho-Capitalism is the best paradigm in my opinion. It is the most principled, allows the most freedom and fairness and has two successful historical examples.

"The ethnic and racial differences between individuals and groups are being stressed and agitated while at the same time you are being forced into a "one world government". This, of course, is not without planning. It is for the purpose of creating chaos and confusion within the psyche. In actuality, this serves our purposes also. It is a great deal easier to create change from chaos than it is to bring it about within a stable, static environment."

Handbook for the New Paradigm

Ah!!! See? Someone who wrote a book is saying the same thing I said.

Based on a Tuath, of course.  :sherlock: (I just like this emoticon)

You are right.
Hey here is a thought.
Is there anyone in our group who can teach those of us willing to learn how to do this correctly and ...ahem legaly  ;D

Anyone know of any usefull books?

Some simple starter things to do:

1. Don't deal with big banks. Choose small independent banks.
2. Grow your own food, if you can, or buy as much as you can at local farmer's markets.
3. Stay away from national chain stores as much as possible.

The goal is to deprive the big businesses that are part of the One-world order of as much income as possible.

So using the nation's largest bank, hating gardening, and doing most of my shopping at amazon, kohls, aldi, costco, wal-mart, best buy, and target is wrong

If you can ignore the socialist parts then the Nearing books are excellent. Start with - "Living the Good Life"

Preferably work for cash only and don't even bother with the bank. Very few of us have the luxury of being paid in cash though  :'(

You're going to need a greenhouse unless you are willing to only eat certain vegetables and follow the advice given in the Nearing book on when to plant which vegetables and how to leave them in the ground through the winter. They were able to eat "fresh" vegetables during winter without a greenhouse. But it's probably easier and more practical to just build yourself a greenhouse.

While all the other stores you list can be avoided I think Amazon is probably the hardest to get around. You can't grow your own books :-)

Or anything else for that matter, as long as it's voluntary.

Of course buying less in and of itself tends to screw up the "system" as it is predicated on continual growth.

I made a couple hundred bucks selling a lot of my books on Amazon before the "great move to freedom".

Well I'm off to do something FUN now, have a good time...TTYL.

Well for heavens sakes if you don't have that luxury then create it for yourself. You're not nearly as helpless as you think you are.

I don't know of any programming job that pays in cash. Either way, I'm not complaining. I'm just pointing out that being paid in cash is a nice luxury that not all of us have.

Heck, even if you run your own store not all customers can pay in cash, so everyone who walks in your store with a credit card or checkbook is a potential client lost.
