How long until we reach critical mass?

With the dropping of the recent charges against Kat and Russell, the Keene Free Press' flourishing, and the other positive news from Concord, things seem quite abuzz there in NH.

As more movers migrate in, and the activism base increases, how quickly will change occur?

I feel like it will be relatively quickly!

If we could get 200-300 more people who are 'active' I think a huge shift will take place.

Russell Kanning

It is hard to tell .... it seems to me much of the change happens one by one, but then like Tolstoy said .... the whole culture can change at once, with people acting like it has always been this way. :)

I, for one, am anxious beyond words to get out there and start kicking all forms of statist ass. I typically present myself with an 'aw shucks' humility but I am I'm also confident in my abilities and I intend on getting our people elected by the dozens.

To all of you active in NH, know that your tremendous efforts and SUCCESSES are being admired from afar. This is going to be incredible.

I'm itching to sign... got my partner 90% convinced... NH may well be in my future this year!

We'll have critical mass after all the people in the First 1,000 are in NH and then some...

FTL_Ian

First 1000 has now reached 300 signers.

7 months remain.  We need 100 signers per month to make the goal.

I think that First 1000 is a fairly critical program. If it flies, I think there will be enough people here to start a chain reaction of movers and activism.

It's going to need our support though. We need to get onto forums that hold likely participants, but aren't saturated with early movers already (i.e. NHLA, NHfree)

Ian, I know you started the First 1000, but how much airtime are you able to give it on FTL?

FTL_Ian

It gets at least one or two plugs per night.

I am planning to move to NH in 3 years I am a reluctlant to sign the first 1000 because I do not want to sign it and miss the deadline to be moved in to the state I belive my word is something I should never break if I did break my word that would make me no better then most politicians.

Yeah, but better to make it to 1000 signatures and have a few people's plans change than not to make the goal.

TackleTheWorld

I'm with Slim.  Making a pledge is a serious promise for us.  If we sign, it will happen.

I'm not abandoning my New London neighbors if they are tenacious enough to hold out 'till 2008.

I'd guess that a group of people who do what they say.
will be more effective and functional
than a group of people who blow off their promises.

People like Lauren and Jim, Roger and Elizabeth, Lloyd...they're already here, even if they live elsewhere.
