If anyone would like to help proof the next issue of Keene Free Press, here it is:

http://www.soulawakenings.com/kfp081006.doc

It'd be helpful if you just made notes on what's wrong...like "Its instead of It's used on page 6" rather than altering the file itself.

Thanks!
Kat

(I did not write the locations of most suggestions. Sorry. :) )

Seems to be a decent man who is most interested in the mission of protecting federal facilities.

The GNUHampshire ad appears to overlap some text.

(If it weren't for the overwhelming media coverage of the Israeli-Lebanon conflict, I would wonder why anything about it is in this paper. In any case, it's a highly biased and lopsided article. A more fitting article would be about the Christian/Jewish/Islamic-backed governments all attempting to extend or strengthen their monopolies of force over that area for religious reasons, whereas such actions are a violation of all 3 religions. The power-hungry have power for this very purpose, and they're simply fulfilling their government job descriptions: to spread their monopolies of force over areas desirable to them.   :P But I doubt anyone has written such an article.)

... which is one of the reasons I love and respect KFP.
Duplicitous rags (*cough* CM *cough*) post lopsided articles under the pretence that they are "fair and balanced."
It takes integrity to post a clearly opinionated article. KFP manages to do so, and doesn't even need to put a wishy washy disclaimer like "we don't agree with the content but we agree with free speech"; that sentiment of open expression above all else is evident in every square inch of the paper.

Indeed! Responsibility is the key to happiness!

I'm planning to write an article about that topic.  :)

<<Note:  Russell Kanning was convicted on August 1st on 4 Class C Misdemeanors, all stemming from his refusal to comply with Federal demands.>>

Should read "..convicted on August 1st of four.."

Remembering the Alamo paragraph 2 "Germans" should be "German" and "Distain" should be "Disdain"
