Top Secret Anti-School Project

Okay so this isn't that secret because I'm talking about it here. ;)

A few people are working with me on a project to undermine support for government schools by providing information about certain books and websites to teenagers in New Hampshire.  The idea is to help children realize that the freedom to learn without school IS in fact an option.  We also want to teach them the benefits of learning in freedom, how to convince their parents to let them quit school, and more.

We're also targeting parents to a lesser extent.

If we can simplify our ideas well enough and find unconventional ways to get these ideas to children, then we may find a degree of success - and piss off a lot of people.  At least we'll get the issue out in public.

Some ideas are distributing info about the Teenage Liberation Handbook, unschooling websites, and famous anti-school and anti-education quotes.

Does anyone else have ideas on how to do this?  This will require a lot of creativity and teenage contacts in the government school system.  How can we get these contacts?

I was going to post a link to that New Hampshire Rebel Alliance flyer, the one that advertises the Teenage Liberation Handbook.  But I can't find the link....Kat is it still on your site and can you post the link to it?

My thinking is that a fiesty teenager who likes the flyer's message and attends a public school could probably best handle this...long as their parents don't object.

Man, I wish someone would have given one of these flyers to me when I was 13.  It would have saved years of frustration and servitude.

I really like that idea Mike. If we get the info to a few students, it can really spread from there. :)

The question is... how exactly do we do this legally?

So far the only ideas I can come up with are:
-Teenage sporting events.
-Arcades.
-Concerts.
-On public sidewalks around schools before and after school.

This should work for handing out flyers.

Any other ideas?

Working through kids we already know. :)

Varrin lives across the street from the Keene high school.  He wants to put up a huge sign with anti-public-school messages on it.
