A strong rubber-band for snapping is probably more practical to carry around.

I told everybody about my big rubber band, didn't I?   I have mace, knives, and a big rubber band in my pocketbook just in case I need them but with the rubber band there is a mental theory behind it.   Someone that is going to hurt you probably expects the mace and stuff but really how would they react having a big rubber band aimed at them?  Would childhood fears of being hit with rubber bands suddenly enter their mind and give me that 3 seconds I need to do something else to protect myself?

My sister says that what people should do if someone has a gun pointing at you is to pretend to or really throw something to them, not at them, and say, "catch".  She thinks that might throw them off guard and they might drop their gun to catch.  I love my twin sister, we are so inventive, at least we think so anyway.

Years ago I was (for kinda good reason) on kinda high alert for quite a while.  The strategy/tricks I might/would have used never included any rubber bands.  Silly me.    But now that you mention . . .

I'm smiling again. 

My sister told the entire family for me.  No one is missing Bill at all.

I still have some loose ends to tie up in terms of the logistics of the break up.  I'll knock those out after Porc Fest. 

I've been keeping so busy that all sorts of new opportunities are opening up to me.  I'm really enjoying it.
I've also been enjoying some of the attention I have been getting.  This looks like it is going to be a very interesting year for me.  They say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.  Bill dumping me may turn out to  be the best thing for me.
