One of our readers told me today we need more articles .... and more controversial ones. :fencing:
The people have spoken. We will see what we can do.

I'm not sure about more controversial just for the sake of controversy, but certainly don't shy away from it. I think it would be great to have more local news - what's happening at the town/school meetings, etc. Not necessarily very exciting but it would be great to let more people know what is going on in town - if you don't attend meetings or go down and read the minutes (which most don't) then it's easy to be totally in the dark about how your town and school are being run and how they're spending your tax dollars.

Kat Kanning

Sure, if someone wants to go to the meetings and report on it.

We're in the process of changing over the website to a new server.  When we're done in a couple days, you can also just read the articles at keenefreepress.com.

It appears the next issue will be going up to 12 pages, but maybe just for one issue.

Looks great, Kat!

As you get the hang of layout, you'll want to cut the number of jumps if you can. Jump as few articles as possible, but when it's unavoidable, jump each article only once. Putting all the "jump tos" on one page is a good idea in a bigger paper, but this one is small enough that it's not hard to flip pages.

Y'all are doing a great job!

So, when will this edition be available?

We should have this one back from the printer by Friday.

It looks great! Good job on improving the quality of the pictures. I also love the new look of the website!
