Picture this: PatK pretending to be Lloyd pretending to be PatK. It blows the mind.

A snow-hating curmudgeon?

EXFORGE cup

I think we have found the owners of all other items.

That lead-off speaker sure was swell, but everyone fled the sanctuary as soon as he stopped yapping because the upstairs furnace hadn't kicked in yet. Videos may be available in a while.

Long after a quite successful beginning, it seems the "Liberty, Justice & Peace Gathering" idea is about to be revived, and made into a series of smaller (sponsored) events.

Stay tuned.

One possible/very likely event (which I'll sponsor) will be a pot luck with an experienced person giving us a short talk about "Seeds of Peace."

Does this experienced person play electric guitar and burn it at the end or is this gonna be some other kind of "experienced" person?

Either way, I'm down.

You shouldn't be unhappy, I'm sure John is doing the best he can do.  You can be unhappy, I'm not telling you what to do.  Maybe there is a third thing that wouldn't make you feel so down... like a Suit from Washington who is sowing the seeds of future peace in the Central African Republic.

Just saying, hate to see you when you're down.

Free libertarian

I meant down from a down jacket.  What do you take me for some kind of quack?  Anyway it's groovy that John is considering doing his peaceful thing,  I'd like to hear more.

Some listen to Jimi, but how many hear him man?

Tom Sawyer

Listening to Little Wing... yeah I hear him, man.

Music transcends, indeed a "spiritual" experience.

I'm glad for John trying to lead others down the peaceful road. Been somewhat following the back and forth of the e-mail list (really wish the conversation was here). Conflict and "war by other means" aka politics is not the solution but the problem... pitting people against each other. The positives, what you are for is preferable to what you are against. Where we agree, is better than where we disagree... values we share are a place to build from, much better than looking for the place to start to tear down.

Seems trite but Marvin Gaye's song "What's Going On" has it right

Father, father
We don't need to escalate
You see, war is not the answer
For only love can conquer hate

John has been building connections in the community... I think that is the good path.
